 Sad to hear this. I’ve been reading his blog for some time now. It had great reviews of upcoming technology. It always had an optimistic tone to it…look what science and technology will be able to do for us in a few years! I had never realized he was actually retired.

We finally did it and bit the high definition bullet. Our gift to each other for Christmas was an HD television to replace our old massively heavy Sony Wega 36″ CRT. After some research and in person comparison we selected the Samsung LN46A650, a 46″ LCD HD TV.
