Surfing this evening I discovered The Asylum, a producer of B movies. But not just any B movie. They make knockoffs of blockbusters for less than you probably paid for your house. Fans of B movies who like to watch them for laughs even say these are hard to sit through. Apparently the audio fades in and out and often isn’t synced up. Awesome. I don’t know if it’s to avoid copyright infringement lawsuits, or they’re just lazy on top of being cheap, but the story only vaguely, vaguely resembles the movie they’re ripping off. Like you were falling asleep when someone described the movie to you in 100 words or less and you tried to recall the storyline the next day.
