New game idea, I’ve actually got the prototype almost ready. It’s sort of group tetris/pattern matching with a board and cards. I’ll explain more when it’s ready.


Election! Prototype ready

The Election! prototype is ready. I came up with another idea today while working on Election so I’ll be making that one next. It’s a board/card game that’s sort of like Tetris but everyone’s fighting over the same tetris board.

Here’s a first pass at the card list and basic rules. I think if you had some fun cartoons on the cards and tailored each card a little (i.e. for ’scandal’ you had a specific humorous scandal in mind), it could be a lot of fun:

Just a blip of an entry. Thinking about skylands and how isolated peoples would behave. There definitely would be a lot of phobia towards outsiders. Also, there’s got to be a very strong element of those who are power seekers wanting a way to reconnect the skylands.
