Here’s the other game I came up with this weekend. Don’t laugh 
It could be a fun game, could also just be a weird, dorky little thing!
Basically, you have pieces that look very tetris-like which you lay on a gridded board. You also have cards with shapes on them. You’re trying to get your pieces (which in a nice version of the game would be made of wood and hence “sticks” or “stix”) to create the shape on the card.
Let me know your thoughts. I’m glad with Election and Stix Shapes (yeah, the name could use some work) that I’ve been able to create some simple, easy to learn games (or at least they seem that way!).
