I haven’t been writing lately, but I hope to start up again soon. That hobby should be in rotation shortly! Instead, I’ve been getting an atypical cleric (though he does have a flail) ready for Naji’s GURPS roleplaying campaign.
I’ve also been at work creating the Skylands world for the purpose of roleplaying and came up with a great multi-adventure story-arc. I’d love to post it here, but I’m planning to play it with a couple of friends up here in the Dallas area who have said they’re interested in roleplaying.
I was really impressed. I wanted something that connected together, but offered a set of very unique adventures. The story just flowed out. It has twists and turns and takes the PCs everywhere. Perhaps it would make a good story when the roleplaying has been done.
This has also encouraged me to flesh out the world as far as races and customs. I’m in the process of translating all this to GURPS terms (mainly the races). Then, I want to flesh out the details for at least the first two adventures, and we should be ready to roleplay (after I introduce the aforementioned friends into the world of GURPS!).
