This always moves me. A strong male character, usually the hero. He is made vulnerable at some point (often being cradled in the arms of a loved one or comrade). This contrast of powerful, charismatic strength with a very human weakness (be it of heart, mind, or body) can really grab at your soul. The power of the character excites and interests you, draws you in. This exposure of their vulnerability makes them real, human and accessible. Plus it would just plain be hot to sit there cradling the muscular body of the hero as he cries into your shoulder.
