Tick Tock said the clock
Tick tock
Said the clock
To Mary Katrina Katula Flock
My dear, Said the clock
What has one got in that ratty old sock?
And with a woeful glance at the time
Mary Katrina Katula Flock sat with her lime
And pondered how she had arrived here naught with but a
dime
If you must you dusty old clock,
I took from the house of one very frumpy Ms. Flock
This ratty old dirty old sock
In which are all my life’s possession, well, that, this
lime, and this little rock.
I’ve got a rock and a sock and a lime and I’m lost
Oh Mr. Clock I’ve run away and now what is the cost?
For I’ve no place to go and none to return, all my life
has been tossed.
Dear dear,
said the clock. Stop your fear,
Life’s a big world, and you’ll find your way, whether it’s
there, or here.
So get yourself up and on back to your home
And think to yourself, is it really worth it to lose all
that for what you’ve done
For at home you’ll find love, and certainly no need to
roam.
